Engexpor is managing the construction of a new hotel in Quinta da Maquia, right next to the city center of Sintra.
The project involves three interconnected blocks, each serving a specific purpose for the hotel’s operation. One of the buildings, spanning over three floors, will house the hotel’s services, including facilities for staff, a cafeteria, living room, storage areas, and refrigeration facilities. The ground floor will host the reception and public relations area, a shop, and a hairdresser, and on the 1st floor, a restaurant featuring a show-cooking concept for 60 people.
The hotel’s 24 double rooms will occupy the two-story block, and the third building will accommodate three suites on the top floor. Additionally, it will integrate a health club and SPA with a gym, sauna, Turkish bath, and massage rooms.
The project also encompasses exterior arrangements and swimming pools, complemented by a recently rehabilitated structure featuring 17 rooms, a suite, library, and tea room.
Designed by Jesus Noivo, the architecture follows sustainability principles, incorporating energy-efficient solutions such as solar and photovoltaic panels, and non-polluting materials.
