We continue to strengthen our operation in the Brazilian energy sector and our partnership with Enel Green Power by taking on the environmental management of the DELFINA wind farm, located in Campo Formoso, in the state of Bahia.
Consisting of eight sub-parks (DELFINA I to VII, and DELFINA VIII – ZEUS), the project has a total of 104 wind turbines, which together have a production capacity of 209 MW (Megawatt). It covers more than 112 hectares.
Enel Green Power is part of the Enel Group and specializes in the development and management of energy projects from renewable sources. Considered one of the largest Renewable Energy companies in the world, it is the leader in the production of “clean” energy in Brazil.
The main activities carried out by Engexpor include:
- Inspection and supervision of forestry operations;
- Project management of the Programme for the Recovery of Degraded Areas and Forest Replacement;
- Review of all environmental reports;
- Prospection of areas for environmental recovery;
- Media communication with owners
- Meetings with executing companies and rural owners;
- Support in the preparation of executive projects and documents for environmental bodies;
- Supervision of Quality, Safety, Environment, and Health activities of the companies involved in the execution.
